The Town of
Responsibilities include assisting the Library Director in planning,
organization, supervision, development and administration of all library
services, personnel, operations and programs and include working in close
coordination with the Library Director and Board of Library
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strength in written communication
and program planning, success in grant writing and external fundraising, written and verbal
communications skills, the ability to set priorities and work with frequent
interruptions, strong interpersonal skills, organization, procedural and public
relations proficiency, and an ability to develop and maintain a rapport with
the public, as well as an ability to supervise and secure the cooperation of the
staff.
Computer literacy, including but not limited to creating web content and
using organization and online tools, word processing, graphics, spreadsheet,
html, internet, financial planning, report generation and database skills are
also required.
Starting annual salary is $47,187 with comparable benefits package.
