Local Building Inspector

The Town of Provincetown is accepting applications for the full-time position of Local Inspector. Administrative, technical, and inspection work related to the enforcement and interpretation of the state building code, the town zoning ordinance and all other applicable statutes, rules, and regulations, and related work as required. High School graduation plus five years broad experience in the building construction field; bachelor's degree in a field related to building design or construction is desirable; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be certified by the State Building Board of Regulations and Standards as a Local Inspector. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
