Town Receives Stimulus Grants
Provincetown is the recipient from USDA Rural Development of $22 million in federal stimulus money (ARRA) for major water and sewer capital projects. Water improvements include a water treatment facility at Knowles Crossing that will obviate the need for annual hydrant flushing. Sewer infrastructure improvements include removing the grinder pumps from the extremeties of the system and extending service from Snail Road to the Truro town line.
