New Hours for the Town Clerk's
Office: Beginning May 26, 2009 the Town
Clerk's Office will be open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am
- 6:00 pm, and Fridays from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.. While Town Hall
is now open Monday through Thursday from 8 am - 6 pm, the
Town Clerk's Office will also be open on Fridays through mid-October
from 8 am - 5 pm. For the convenience of our visitors, on Fridays
the Clerk's Office will be operating out of Firehouse
#3, between Town Hall and Adams Pharmacy.

Policy Goals for FY 2010 Adopted: The
Provincetown Board of Selectmen held a public hearing on Monday,
June 29, 2009 at 6 p.m. in Larkin Hall, Center for Coastal Studies,
5 Holway Street, Provincetown, MA, and then and there adopted Town-wide
policy goals for Fiscal Year 2010. See

Special Election
June 23, 2009 Results: A Special
Town Election was held on June 23, 2009
in the Veterans Memorial
Elementary School Gymnasium, 2 Mayflower Lane, Provincetown, to
vote to decide a ballot question related to the renovation of Town
Hall. See Results.
Rental Certificates:
The Provincetown Board of Health has adopted
new public health and safety regulations pertaining to the renting
of property for habitation. This new regulation applies to all forms
of rental property including weekly, seasonal, and year round. If
you are renting property, you are required to obtain the Renters
Certificate and receive an inspection every 3 years. Applications
are available here or may be picked up in the Licensing Department
at Town Hall. Our normal business hours are Monday through Thursday,
8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Read More.
Street Sweeping
Regulations in Effect: The Town
of Provincetown Street Sweeping regulations will go into effect
on Tuesday, May 26, 2009. Parking is prohibited and violators will
be towed on Commercial Street in street sweeping zones from 9:00
a.m to 11:00 a.m. See

Provincetown 2009
Parking Permits On Sale Beginning April 1st: Provincetown
2009 Parking Permitswill be available at the Parking Department,
Provincetown Police Station, 26 Shankpainter Road, Provincetown
MA, between the hours of 8:00 am and 12:30 pm & 1:00 pmand 3:00
pm. The office will be closed from 12:30 to 1pm for lunch Monday
through Friday beginning on Wednesday, April 1,2009. Thursday only
10-12:30 & 1-3pm.. This includes Patriots Day, Monday, April
13, 2009. See Public

New Trash and Recycling
Pick-up Schedule Effective November 3, 2008: Due
to the change to a four-day work week beginning the week of November
3, 2008, the Department of Public works has instituted a new trash
and recycling pick-up schedule. See
