to Handicapped Parking Regulations:

Provincetown 2008
Parking Permits: Parking Permits for the
2008 season will be available beginning Monday, April 1st, at the
Parking Department, Provincetown Police Station, 26 Shankpainter
Road, Provincetown MA, between the hours of 8:00AM and 12:30 PM
and 1:00PM and 3:00PM. The office will be closed from 12:30 to 1pm
for lunch Monday through Friday beginning on Tuesday, April1 2008.
Thursday Only 10-12.30 1-2. This includes Patriots Day, Monday,
April21, 2008. See

Delivery Regulations
in Effect Beginning April 1, 2008: Pursuant
to Chapter 9, Section 9-11-1 of the Provincetown General By-laws,
Delivery Regulations on Commercial Street are in effect April 1,

Street Sweeping
Regulations in Effect May 29, 2007: The
Town of Provincetown Street Sweeping regulations will go into effect
on Tuesday, May 29, 2007. See

Parking Regulations
in Effect April 1, 2007: Parking shall
be prohibited at all times on Commercial Street between Pearl Street
and Central Street from April 1 to October 31, 2007.All Town Parking
Meters will be activated from April 1to October 31, 2007. Strictly
enforced. See

Delivery Regulations
in Effect April 1, 2007: Pursuant to Chapter
9, Section 9-11-1 of the Provincetown General By-laws, Delivery
Regulations on Commercial Street are in effect April 1, 2007. Said
Delivery Regulations are in effect from April 1st until October
31st of each year. See

Bus
Routes Extend Hours Beginning June 23, 2007: The
Flex Bus Route that goes non-stop via Route 6 between North Truro
and Provincetown extends
hours of operation beginning June 23rd. Read
more. The MassRIDES program offers Emergency Ride
Home Program and other discount services.

Fines - Effective April 1, 2006
In accordance with the Board of Selectmen's
vote at the 2006 Annual Traffic Hearing on Tuesday, March 21, 2006,
parking fine fees have been increased.

Fee Increases for Town of Provincetown
Parking Lots. The
Provincetown Board of Selectmen conducted the 2006 Annual Traffic
Hearing on March 21, 2006 and approved several fee increases for
the Town of Provincetown parking lots. Click

Parking
Fund
The
Town of Provincetown operates paid parking lots and parking meters
which deposits nearly $1.5-million per year into the Town's Parking
Fund. The Parking Fund is then used for parking related purposes
and to reduce the property tax levy, pursuant to special legislation
Chapter 790 of the Acts of.1981.
