The trust is established to create and preserve year-round rental units in the town of Provincetown including, but not limited to, market rate units, for the benefit of residents of the town.

Harbor Hill Acquisition!

The Year-Round Market Rate Rental Trust Board of Trustees closed on the acquisition of Harbor Hill on September 4, 2018 and are the proud owners of 26 units.  No acceptable bids were received in the September 2018 bid cycle so the Trust had to regroup and re-issue the Invitation for Bids. While doing that, Building #5 underwent renovations with the assistance of the Dept. of Public Works and local venders. Building #5 came on line in May 2019, currently 4 of the 6 units are rented.

The larger renovation contract was awarded to NEI following the second round of bidding. The renovations of building #4, #6, and #7 began 7/29/19. It is anticipated to be a 6 month construction project and the goal is to have units available as soon as possible, estimated at November/December. 

Two rounds of applications and lotteries were conducted in the Fall of 2018 & Spring of 2019. Applications are now being accepted on a rolling basis with applicants added to the list.
