Real Property Abatements
Form: Real Property Abatement Application (PDF)
FY23 Assessments are based on Calendar Year 2021 sales with an Assessment Date of January 1, 2022.
If you are applying for a Real Property Abatement, download the Real Property Abatement Application from the link above. Complete the application, date & sign. Return the application to the Assessor's Office within 30 days of the mailing of the "Actual" Bill (Bill Date). If the application is not received or post marked (USPS) by the Due Date, the application cannot be accepted.
Personal Property Abatements

If you are applying for a Personal Property Abatement, download the Personal Property Abatement Application from the link above. Complete the application, date & sign. Return the application to the Assessor's Office within 30 days of the mailing of the "Actual" Bill (Bill Date). If the application is not received or post marked (USPS) by the Due Date, the application cannot be accepted.
Note: The assessment date for FY23 is January 1, 2022. If you were the owner of real property or sold the property after January 1, 2022, you are responsible for the entire Personal Property Bill for FY23.
Also, if you owned or sold the property after January 1, 2022, you will be responsible for the entire Personal Property FY 2024 bills that will be sent in October/November 2023 & April 2024.
